Keep Isolation Phonebank & LTE Action! Thurs Feb 22 at 12ET
Join us in calling elected officials and writing letters to the editor to oppose the CDC proposal to end COVID isolation recommendations
The CDC is considering putting an end to the recommendation that people with COVID isolate — we must push back on this proposal. Getting rid of isolation protocols for those with active infections will increase the spread of COVID and undermine our right to rest. Both of these will also contribute to an influx in chronic illness, disability and Long COVID.
Join us on Thursday February 22nd at 12PM EST for a zoom phonebank and letter to the editor writing session to tell the White House and our elected officials to keep the current isolation protocol, and to consider its extension to reflect scientific research around contagion.
We will also hold a breakout room for supporting people in writing letters to the editors of national and local publications on this pressing issue.
Phone numbers, time for questions and a suggested script will be provided.
Act now and share with friends before the guidelines are set to be reassessed at the beginning of April.
